tattoo question?

I’m starting my PCT on Monday and I am getting some ink done on Tuesday. I won’t be able to work out for at least 9 -14 days while I’m healing what do you guys recommend doing so I don’t shrivel up into a little turd?

make sure your diet is spot on. Its PCT so you need to eat above maintenance cals, but make sure it's clean. Just out of curiosity, where's the tat and how big? I only have a small one of my leg cus I compete. I've always wanted more ink tho...

I think I gave my last tatt a couple days to heal and not only hit the weights went to jiu jitsu and even rolled for an hour....no damage done.

Why would you not workout, and why would you even do anything to interupt your working out while on PCT? You should just wait to get the tatoo after PCT.

my tattoo only hurt for about 3 hours after and it was on the back of my tricep. pretty sensitive spot. after that i forget it's there. hehe. either you got one hell of a tattoo or your a pussy :/

I have a lot of tats...actually got my entire right arm done from wrist to shoulder over the lasr few months. At the most, I waited 3-4 days...no need to wait two weeks, in my opinion.

dude, work around it..

unless you're getting a big tattoo that covers your back.....(and in that case, for that amount of money you should re-schedule it for another time after your PCT)......you should be able to work around it. for example if you get one on the top of your back-do front squats instead of regular squats. if you got a tattoo on your chest, do dumbbell bench presses instead of a bar.....and so forth...

4arms 4get it! i cracked mine just from squeezing the bar after 5 days, now i have a scar..upper arm half sleeze i was fine in a few days..i just do more legs..

Best advise yet and yeah it is a back piece and the tattoo artist is only in town for 2 days he lives in Hawaii so it’s something I need to get done then... I understand how some people might think that it is ok to work out right after you get work done but when you are spending $4500 on a piece and you rip a scab causing a scar on your tattoo it’s not worth it... trust me I have one on my forearm that did that exact thing... but I guess I will just kill my legs 3 days a week and hit some cardio....

Yup avoid the area until the scab peels off. I have full sleeves and pieces on my legs, stomach, chest, neck, etc etc lol. A lot of money and time to fuck it up. I would give it a week. Make sure to keep ointment on it to keep it moist.

aww jits is the worst thing right after you get inked...your gi will rip off chunks of scab with ink in it..this can fuck with the way it heals...i have big light spots in my back that i had to get touched up from training to fast

ps i can't wait to get my back piece done

who's the tattooist?

I'd be more worried about getting tattooed with aas still in my system than training afterwards.what ever the reason, every time I tattoo someone on or just off a cycle, after 2-3 hours their skin just cant take anymore ink and they heal like shit.,,rubbery skin, seems to be worse from deca cycles, not sure why though.

if your planning a full back, wait to after pct, don't worry too much about training afterwards just keep the tattoo moist with lotion and forget about heavy benching till its healed.

What's your basis for this statement? I got a tat, albeit a small one, while on over 2 grams of gear weekly. Healed fine.

Totally disagree with this...having aas in your system isn't going to make you heal any different.

yea bro this is suspect info, i JUST got new ink on my shoulder blade and im liftin fine, just subbin front squats for back squats for a little while

seriously bro,it makes a difference.especially on larger pieces, its a bitch to get coloured ink consistant after 3 hrs ,for b&g and tribal its around 2 hrs.don't know how to describe it. its like the skins watery or something, shit this is hard to explain in text.if you plan on going ahead with a big piece ask your tattooist if he finds any difference in your skin.
