Yes, our dear model citizen Lionel Tate was arrested again.

He was arrested the first time years ago for killing a little girl by beating her to death with his hands. What does a juvenile hooligan do? He blames Sting, Rock, Vince, WCW and WWE because he was imitating wrestling moves on her. The coroner said that the beating was non-stop for over 18 mins and was hardly "play" at all. One of the "moves" he did was jumping from the 8th step of the stairway and landing with both feet on her stomach. Oh yeah, the little girl didn't even weigh 70 lbs. (I think she was 11 or 12).
So he goes to jail. And the Black Community rallies behind him. With churches protesting. With appeals to the Supreme court, United Nations, the President, Hollywood...etc. On how he was unfairly convicted and sentenced. (What about the little girl?)

So he gets out on just 10 years probation.


Then he is arrested again. Past midnight curfew during the hurricanes, in an area that had several burglaries over the course of the night. He is arrested and caught carring a knife. What does he do? He blames his mother. The black community rallies again, saying it is undue harassment by the police.

He gets nothing more than a "potential" extra 5 years of probation and 1000 hours community service.

He is arrested yesterday. What does he do? Order 4 pizzas and puts a gun in the delivery person's face. Armed robbery. He goes to a 13 year old house who is alone at the time and asks to use the phone. He calls and orders the pizza and then goes out the apartment and downstairs to wait for the guy. The driver shows up and Tate runs back upstairs but the 13 year old thinks something is wrong and won't let him in. He forces his way into the apartment, beats the 13 year old up and to the ground, and then attempts to rob the driver. (who fled when he saw the gun in his face.)

He gets arrested.

I wonder who he will blame this time.

I wonder what excuse the black community will use for him this time.

Ok.....now I remember this......I heard about it briefly on local news. The way it was portrayed is that it was an accident. It's being looked at as a tragedy rather than a malicious type of crime involving premeditation.

I'm just telling you how it was played out here on the local news when I heard it. All I remember is that it was a black kid practicing wrestling moves, resulting in the death of a young girl.

Why was there no parental supervisions to prevent this is the question I would ask.

From what I know (help me here, AAP) he was sentenced to life, even though his Mom, who I believe is a corrections officer (AAP?) turned down a plea deal that would have given him incarceration into a youth facility until age 18.

This guy is a walking capital murder case waiting to happen.

From what I know (help me here, AAP) he was sentenced to life, even though his Mom, who I believe is a corrections officer (AAP?) turned down a plea deal that would have given him incarceration into a youth facility until age 18.

This guy is a walking capital murder case waiting to happen.

Yes, the original plea deal they were offered were being placed in a minimum security juvie until he was 18 and had graduated from their high school program (GED), plus 5 years probation afterwards.

They (his mom : some kind of career in the law enforcement field) rejected this deal saying that the 5 years probation afterwards was unjust. So they ended up going before a judge who said that he pretty much agreed to the same thing, only he was going to require a longer probation period. They then insisted they were being profiled and discriminated against and turned to a jury. The jury gave him life in prison w/o parole. (Sitting in court acting all gangsta and giggling the whole time didn't help him.)

I thought that was a fair judgement.

Then the black community got all fired up over it and went to work with their little marches and protests and media twisting. Saying he was unfairly treated and just thrown away. While conveniently ignoring they offered him a very lienent sentence. (If I could kill someone and only get three years, I would do it). So the case was reviewed again and appealed. He was released into his mother's supervision with the usual conditions. Curfew, probation, drug tests, counseling, etc...

Then he was arrested again. Breaking his curfew, breaking the state curfew that was issued because of the hurricanes, carrying a knife, running from police officers, and then giving a fake name and address. When they escorted him home (they were not going to take him to jail yet) they found out he had a fight with his mother and was getting violent with throwing things around and against the walls and she threw him out of the house and locked the doors (to protect herself). So then they took him to jail. The black community then came down on the mother and she recanted her story to appease those people still blindly following his plight.

And now this. This wasn't an accident. He only went to that apartment because he knew the kid was alone and he only used that phone to call the guy to rob him. Then when the kid got scared and didn't let him in, he forced his way in and gave the kid a beating that left him laying on the floor as the pizza delivery guy described to seeing the kid laying there, crying for his momma.

Oh, and my heart felt thoughts are that if that had been my little girl he killed. There wouldn't have been a third arrest. There wouldn't have been a second arrest. There wouldn't even have been a first arrest. There would have been another dead kid in that neighborhood.

I would have snapped the life out of him without the first micro-ounce of remorse or emotion. I wouldn't have done it out of anger or hatred or revenge. It would have been out of necessity. He needed to die and I helped him.

State wanted to retry the case but decided to accept time served with an added condition of probation.

What makes me sick is the girl was like 6 years old....

What was truly appalling, was the reaction of the black “community,” in the original case. As I recall, there was much gnashing of teeth and renting of cloth, over ‘one young life lost, must there be another lost to prison’ and the like. In all honesty, it was yet another example of the black community, irrationally excusing the violence and murder of one member of the “community” by another, because it was really an unjust society that had failed him and “forgiveness,” and not “vengeance” must prevail...blah, blah, blah.

Lowering myself down to his level would be to abuse him and beat him, leave him to die a slow painful death from ruptured organs, and then lie up and down about what happen should the authorities question me.

I wouldn't do that. I would simply remove his life and last breath from his body. Call it pulling his feeding tube out or whatever, but I would look at it as something that had to be done. I would be doing everyone involved - including him - the biggest favor in the world.
