Tan-through shirts?

WTF, I found a thread about this on another board. Apparently they make shirts that allow you to get tanned underneath them. Here's one link of one (only?) brand. Anyone know if these are for real?

It doesn't matter because I'm pasty white, will always be pasty white, and nothing will make me more attractive, I'm just curious if these "work" as claimed.

And even if they did work...would you wear those tropical sky print, and brushed "AC Slater" print shirts?

If you wear a thin cotton shirt it will allow some UV rays through for tanning.
