Tan people, help me!

I just laid out for the first time in a while, and Im burnt really bad! I was being a dumbass and didnt use any lotion, but I figured that it would defeat the purpose of me being out there. Well I learned the hard way. Is there any sun tan lotion that I can use, that will prevent me from being burned to a crisp, but at the same time wont prevent me from getting a tan? Thanks for the help!

I use any dark tanning OIL I can find, with SPF 2. Any oil that fits this descripton works. I buy the generic Rite Aid Dark Tanning Oil SPF2 for $4 and I get great results, and I never burn.

Hey,
Being from Hawaii we know all about this kind of stuff. Sun block will totally block the sun out. Sun screen will protect you but will still let some tan in. So use some sun block, trust me skin cancer isnt worth it, protect your skin.

You definately don't want to use anything with too much protection because you just won't get any color but applying a low SPF 2 or 4 every 45 minutes will do the trick. If you just put it on once you will burn if you don't have a good foundation/base tan.
