I'm taking zoloft 50mgs/day right now,due to some anxiety issues with co-inciding insomnia,Which gets worse when starting my aas cycle consisting of Test prop 100mgs. eod. Eq 400mgs/week and Winny 50mgs/day.My problem is the sertraline makes me too complacent and unmotivated to train hard, also I feel a lot weeker on most of my lifts,as well as gassing out pre-maturely,not being able to complete the desired amount of reps. This is probably due to the down regulation of various dopaminergic receptors caused by the various ssri agents. This causes diminished neuro-muscular firing which impedes strong muscular contractions. I was considering adding one or several nootropics, which have been shown to increase dopamine:Hydergine, piracetam and deprenyl. There was a good post by The Sleeper in feb/2002,under"anyone here use nootropics" at anabolex where he recomends a stack with paxil and deprynel@5mg/day, he also throws in pramiracetam@1200mg/day and hydergine@9mg/day.He claims an increase in energy and well being, and the ability to train more agrresively.
I can also try adding cytomel@25mg/day. Eca and clen are too stimulating for me. I have read that a dual serotonin norepenephrine re-uptake inhibitor like effexor has less of these problamatic sides. If anyone has experience with ssri's and aas, can you tell me what methods you use to mitgate these symptoms allowing you to train consistently and intensely. Thank You.
