just writing this thread to say hi to everyone, and to ask for a little advice. here goes, i took about three months off due to a shoulder problem and now im having a hard time getting the desire to go back to the gym. im down 30 pounds and i know my strength is way down too. before i hurt myself i got up 405 on the flat bench, not that its much but for being 230 pounds it was fairly good with 8% body fat. now my question is should i workout for a few weeks before i start up my cycle again and see what i can get back on my own or should i just start up my cycle right off the start. if i wait to start my cycle i know its going to be very hard psycologically and im going to feel like killing myself hahaha. but i want to do whats best for me so any suggestions would be great.

just wait your strength come back to agood level, refind your muscular sensation and wait 2 months at least before juicin again...it's a good way to build lean mass again and to see some loss muscles comin back..if you juice now,you risk to hurt you once again and fuckin shoulders problem suck...believe me; I know what I'm talking about.....

im in the same situation.i got into a bad car accident and have severe nerve damage in my neck, which causes my left arm to go numb.
i have not worked out in a month and yesterday they finally said i can go light.
i actually gained weight and have not lost any muscle size to my suprise.my bodyfat got a lot higher but my musculater stayed the same.
people actually thought i got bigger lol.
im gonna wait till my body adkusts too the weights again and untill i feel 100%.
still in a lot of pain and on meds.
id wait if i was you

I've always heard that muscle has memory and one that hasn't lifted in a while can easily get back to where they were before their time off. I would definantly wait and go as far as you can without the cycle and then decide when the time is right. Also gear has been known to make a person more injury prone in some cases. Get strong naturally and be certain that your shoulder in 110%, then do your cycle.

recover naturally to a good strength then get back on. you got to find the motivation inside you. you shouldn't need gear to get you into the gym. IMO

Muscle memory is a beautiful thing, it won't take you long to get back to where you were. I would also train clean for a bit before hitting the sauce again.
