taking supplements on off-days

Please excuse me for the stupid question but is it necessary to take supplements such as protein, creatine, glutamines, etc.. on days that you don't work out? I don't work out on the weekends and was wondering if i needed to take supplements if im not going to work out for 3 days straight.
 
YES, you still need to take supplements on off days because this is when your body/muscles are recovering from the on-days. Keeping a high protein and nutrient supply constant is a must for good gains. Especially creatine, you cant just stop taking it, this will mess around with the creatine levels in your body and be either detrimental or do nothing.
