I'd probably take 5-7 days off. That's just what I would do. With the whey protein drinks, L-glutamine powder, creatine and multi-vitamin/minerals supps I take I usually feel fine training hard 4 days a week as long as I get sufficient sleep every night and sleep extra on the weekends. I'd say take a week to soften up a little as they say, then get back into it and you'll feel strong and refreshed. I think a week off from training every 4-6 months is a smart thing and it certainly won't hurt your progress.
