taking measurements

i just bought a tape measure from a fabric store. i was the only guy in there! those broads where... ok never mind that, my question is how do i properly take body measurments? do i measure waist? from back to belly button ect..
all tips will be apreciated

yup; waist bellybutton, chest nipple.....other parts are pretty straight forward.
