Taking a week off from training

How many guys take off from training periodically? I haven't taken a week off in a few months, about 4-5 months. Was thinking of taking off for a week starting on next Monday. I have been off of steroids for about 1.5 weeks. Just think it would be good to let my tendons and overall body heal up from the abuse that it has taken.

What are your guys thoughts?
 
IMO this is the worst time for you to take time off. You'll lose more of your gains then you normally would due to the fact you won't be training AND you're off the sauce.

Now I am a fan of taking time off now and again but I would rather be near the end of my cycle when doing it as the gains slow down anyway and the juice will help keep what you’ve gained throughout the cycle even though you’re not training. But during PCT is not a good idea.
 
I take off now and again as well. But I have too make sure that it will be more beneficial to my body than not. In this case you may want to wait about two more weeks before you take that week..

Dont take time off just now...especially if you just came off...like anal said its the worst time...im all about taking time off, but i do it 1-2 weeks BEFORE the start of my next cycle..depending....
 
Thts what I was thinking, so thats why i asked. If i end up taking off, maybe it will be for the week before i start again.

I think it would be a good idea to take a week of a week or 2 after your cycle is completed. Your body is in a more catabolic environment since your T levels are very low. Your body will not be as stressed durring that week since you will not be training therefore it may help recovery further. Just eat those cals.
