T3 T4 differences???

MILLENNIUM

New member
I posted this earlier under a different title. No one was looking at it. Sorry for the double post. I need help. :)

I just got some Synthriod or T4 and am looking for some advice from any of you bros oout there with experience wiith this stuff. I got some liquid T3 and have been using it ramping from 12.5mcgs to 50mcgs and back down. Problem is I felt it first day and have not felt it since. Then I read a study someone posted showing that liquid T3 loses its potency very quickly after it is made. I guess something about being suspended in liquid or something. It was a big study someone posted a few days ago. Anyway I opted to go with pills but couldn't find T3. The pharmacist I got from said T4 was better anyway and I should just run that. He said the only reason people run T3 is cause T4 is hard to find. Is this true? Should I run the T4 the same way I have been running the T3? Can I start mid run on T4 or should I finish out the cycle of T3 and then wait awhile to run the T4? If you shouldn't run same dosages of T3 what are the dosages? Sorry for all the questions and the long post. I am just paranoid about this Thyroid shit and want to be as safe as possible. I have read on it and it seems to make sense about what the pharmacist said, but I like to hear from personal experience. Thanks to anyone that can help.

t3 is better than t4 for the simple fact that less t3 is needed
25mcg t3 = 100mcg t4

as t4 comes in 25mcg tabs alot ov tabs have to be taken each day thus t3 being a better first choice, although many cnt source legit t3

So to be effective I need to run 4x the amount of T4 as T3? Should I ramp it the same way? Also would you recommend switching from the T3 to T4 mid cycle of T3 or just run the T3 even though I think it has lost potency due to being in liquid form?

Thanks

no experience, never used a fatburner in my life. sorry brotha
Thats right I forgaot you are always trying to put mass on not lose :). Sometimes I wish I had that problem. I am sure it is the latter for you at times.

yes ramping up and down still apply bro with t4 or t3
switching from t3 to t4 could be done yes but cn also be complicated
if u cn stick with t3 then do so and if nt then just do ur math correct and u will be fine
imo no need to ramp up thyroid drugs but ramping down is needed for sure

Don't bother with T4. It needs to be converted to T3 to be active. while dieting this conversion is faulty. Use T3.

T4 is preferred in a medical setting

1) much greater halflife approx 7 days allowing one a day dosing for steady levels at low doses
2) cheap
3) lower potency hyperthyroidism is high risk for T3 admin as dosing is typ guesswork
4) it supplies T3 and T4 best representing natural state.

Howver for you purposes these are not as relevant and T3 is a much preferred option

I read an artical, about how T-4 is better to use with gh, it said t-4 will amplify gh by about 50%. I'm going to try it.

Thats interesting. Can you post a link to the article?

Again that wouldn't make sense while dieting. T4 is inactive. It has to be converted to T3 to be active. It is a good idea to use T3 with GH since GH lowers T3 levels.

It is known thyroid functioning helps promote secretion and actions of GH but dont know if this is anaction of T3 or T4, T4 does have active properties

T4 is worthless like others have stated.... The ONLY time I have heard it being effective is if you use it STACKED with T3, since it has a longer half life, there is some type of synergistic effect...... That's about all I remember, and I can't give you more info on this, cause I never did it myself, I just knew a few guys that used it that way..... In fact, there are T4/T3 combo pills, but again, I don't have any exp using them.....

Most of the hormones interact in some way with each other. I know for a fact that GH will lower T3 and it is therefore recommended that one use T3 while on GH.

Interesting i only know about its application within "physiological range" so have not come across this. Thyroid hormones definatly potentiate GH functioning as well.

Right, but that's the interesting thing. With that said you would think that GH would increase thyroid, but the opposite happens.

Me too. Got some synthroid coming in next week. Should be interesting.
