T3? How long?

How long should a low dose of T3 be run? Should the T3 be stopped before clomid therapy, or should you run it straight through clomid? I was thinking 12.5 - 25 mcg per day for an entire AS cycle and right through the clomid, but that would be about 14 weeks, is that too long for the T3? I want to use it in hopes of increasing protein synthesis and keeping the fat off from the extra calories I plan to eat! Thanx
 
I would not recommend using T3 for more than 45 days!!! I personally rarely go over 30 days. The possiblity of permanent thyroid defeciency brought on by T3 use just is not worth it! I have used T3 in conjunction post cycle with Clomid with no issues. Yes, as I noted above 14 weeks is way to long!!

12.5 to 25mcg pd of T3 may or may not help with continuing protein sythesis. Sorry I am so vague here, but the problem is everyone is different and reacts differently to T3. Personally I would expect you will have to up the dosage slowly to continue to accelerate sythesis. I believe at the dosage you are suggesting it will work for a week maybe two before you body adjusts shutting down its own production leaving you at base. You may find you have to raise to 37.5 maybe even 50mcg to continue the acceleration.

If your intent is to keep fat off with the T3 you will definitely want to slowly increase the dosage as the cycle goes along. Equally as important is that you slowly decrease the dosage to baseline. Don't just stop taking the drug... For fat burning I find I am very succesful with a peak dosage of 75mcg (again very slowly climbing to this point). I know many bro's who go to 100mcg plus, I just don't find this to be neccesary..
 
there have been no documented cases of t-3 damaging your thyroid as warlobo has pointed out in prevous threads. 12.5 mcgs is a good dose for the increased protien synthesis
 
there have been no documented cases of t-3 damaging your thyroid as warlobo has pointed out in prevous threads. 12.5 mcgs is a good dose for the increased protien synthesis. if you want to use it to keep off the fat i suggest you ramp it up rapidly to 100 mcgs starting with 25mcgs and increasing by 25 mcgs every 4 days till you reach 100 mcgs. thenholding for about 7 days at your peak. then slowly come off decreasing by 25mcgs every 6 days till you reach the end of your cycle. i ran this same cycle and it worked great i had a very large increase in energy and a decent amount of fat loss on it.

thanks fellas, I think I'll run it in a pyramid fashion for 30 days, and just save the rest for another cycle. Maybe I'll use it with winny, test and clen next summer
 
There are many sides associated with long term use.. Here is one example:
"Monitoring thyroid function before T3 administration (for a baseline reading) as well as after administration is important. Beyond the observation that T3 potentiates noradrenergic activity, its mechanism of action as an augmentation agent is not clearly understood.4 Although T3 is a relatively safe augmentation agent with few adverse effects or potential allergic reactions, it has the potential, if taken chronically, to interfere with thyroid metabolism. Therefore, its use should generally be limited to two or three weeks. Adverse effects associated with excess administration of T3 include irritability, sweating and the possibility of cardiac arrhythmias."

I talked to a chemist from my university who is versed in the use of anabolics and diuretics, he recommended not doing T3 more than 30 days. If you want to avoid unwanted catabolic effects from the T3 he reccomended stacking the T3 with primobolan
