T3 for everyone?

piojoso

New member
I started dieting and taking T3 at 75 mcgs/day 4 days ago, I weighted myself today and I lost 0 pounds. My question is: is it possible that exogenous T3 don't have effect on some people (me)?
Should I keep taking it for a few more days and see what happens or should I stop now?
Should I raise the dose?
BTW I am also on deca and winny.
Any advice would be appreciated

it takes 2 weeks to kick in fully, so ive heard, your diet is more important than anything, with a bad diet it wont matter how much you take

I'm glad to hear that, I was starting to get worried
Thanks for the reply
Anyone else have any other opinion?

If you started dieting 4 days a go there is no way you should be taking 75mcgs of t3. Really you should diet without is for a few weeks as the change in diet alone will cause a drop in bodyfat. T3 should be used to get through sticking points. My question to you is when you reach a sticking point now what are you going to do? Since you started on a dose of 75mcgs you are going to have to up it over 100mcgs. Why not start at 12.5mcgs and increase it when you are no longer losing bodyfat. I have been competing since 1995 and I have never, not even the last week before a show, used over 50mcgs. To start at 75 is rediculous.

Well,
I wasn't clear enough
I started taking t3 four days ago, but i've been dieting for 2 months now.
And I started with the high dose just becouse I see no need to tapper up, but of course I'm going to tapper down.
Thanks for the advice

The thing is you would be better off starting with a low dose and upping it if need be. Thyroid is not like AS where you should front load. A small increase in T3 and your body is going to burn fat rapidly. There is no good reason to start out at 75mcgs when 12.5 may work just as well. Another thing to consider is that the more t3 you take the bigger the chance that you will lose muscle. Starting with 75mcgs almost guarantees some muscle loss. I am only trying to help you out, I'm not flaming you. It just seems like the most mis-used drug that I read about on this board is t3. With thyroid less is more, use the least amount possible that way you can lose bodyfat while holding on to all of your muscle mass.

I think you're right, but the problem is that i'm not losing ANY weight at all
It's just been a week, but still I think I should be losing something.
Do you agree that it takes two weeks to kick in?
