T3 and Synthyroid

my mother has a thyroid disorder and gets tons of these ,Im pretty sure it is the same but cant find a answer anywhere

The reason I ask is she has offered to give me some so I dont have to buy T3 when I go on my next cycle,they are .125mcg pills which seems like a appropriate dose for T3

can anyone help?

Synthroid is a T4 Thyroid hormone not a T3. It has approx one fifth the potency of T3. So... 125mcg of Synthroid would do about the same as 25mcg of T3.

you can use Synthroid(t4) for fat loss just like using Cytomel(t3) for fat loss. As stated already, T4 is about 1/4-1/5 the potency of t3. if you are going to use T4 then start at around 100mcg per day and work your way up slowly to 400mcg per day then back down to 100mcg per day....don't use for more than 6 weeks or so.
Do a search under Cytomel and read a lot more before using Thyroid drugs......

I think you guys better do alittle more research. My thyroid stopped working because I was taking about the equivalent of 150 mcg and now I have to take a pill every morning for the rest of my life. Start with 25mcg per day and work up to 50 maybe. Don't mess around with this shit.

Do more research? WTF about what pittsburgh or I stated was erroneous? I too am on Synthroid for life, but its not because I misused T4 or T3...infact I never used either drug prior to being diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. Pittsburgh and I stated that T4 was 1/5 the potency of T3, that's because T4 has to convert to T3 before it becomes of any use in the body. Pittsburgh also stated that the Bro would have to ramp his doses of T4(just like T3)if he was to use that particular drug and that he would have to use 4-5 times the amount of of T4, than is recommended with T3(for fat burning). So again bbbb, what was wrong about the information we gave the Canadian Oak?

Im 18 with two cycles under my belt and have used t3 before peaking at 100mcg for 5 days then back down

I know the risks and have read alot,I just wasnt sure if synthyroid was a different brand of t3
