T3 a must with Tren?

Hey folks.... was curious about something.... I was reading recently that it's "advisable" to take a small dosage of T3 (something like 25mcg/day) to pick up thryoid levels... I think the reasoning was that when thyroid levels are down, prolactin levels go up... so I'm wondering how many of you use T3 for this reason as to opposed to using it for fat-burning. Is it a good idea to take T3 with Tren to keep thyroid levels up (and prolactin down) or are there better ways of doing this... or if you're not prone to gyno, just leave well-enough alone?

Thanks!

I'm not a chemist or endocrinologist but I think I sweat enough on tren. T3 would make that worse I think. I've only used tren once (so far) and didn't have any noticable prolactin issues.

I see your point, but sweating isn't the issue.... I've used tren a couple times before and I don't *think* I had issues with prolactin, I didn't get gyno and libido seemed to be ok... I think those are the only things to be concerned with as far as elevated prolactin goes.

T3 isn't the safest thing out there and you'd be surprised how many top level competitors DO NOT use it. As far as using it to reduce prolactin, I think it's a stretch. You can get cabaser pills inexpensively.

I agree dont mess with t3 for prolactin, I know a pro who a placed in the top 10 at the olympia and he won't fuck with it . I am thinking about using it ( only for 30 days ) and he was like " man you going to fuck your thyroid up " and thats coming from a pro.

Elite bodybuilders get lean with their diet, genetics, cardio, and incredible amount of LBM (which is maintained with massive amounts of steroids and GH). The vast majority do not use things like T3 and DNP.

You dont need a pro to tell you that, anytime you use T3 you are playing with fire, there's always a chance your thyroid wont fire again. Personally I dont use, playing with our other hormones is bad enough in the long run but to anyone that asks me about T3 cycling I have always provided a VERY strict schedule to include the proper tapering of T3 to ensure levels come back as expected, there is no guarantee of that.

Prolactin is suppressed by dopamine and testosterone much greater than by thyroid levels. Actually thyroid hormones indirectly suppress prolactin by positively influencing catecholamine release (PEA, Norepinephrine, dopamine). If you are worried about gyno take tren with test and proviron and use cabaser or parlodel (bromocriptine) on the rebound.

I also heard this, can't remember where though. I'm interested in hearing more about this.

I've never heard this but it does sound interesting.

lemme guess, you read the anthony roberts thing? i saw that and laughed. his science on that 'site' is conjecture. i personally am not afraid of t3, or tren, but don't see the point on his theoretical.

52, joe, indy.... I agree with you guys.... I've never wanted to mess around with something that could potentially mess me up for life, especially if not done right.... thanks for the input!

I honestly don't know, though it could've been.... I'll probably never use T3, but if I were to use it, it would be to help burn off fat as opposed to decreasing prolactin.... there are safer alternatives to doing that... and as for burning off fat, the old-fashioned way works ok for me
