Yes they are armenian

Serj the lead singer for System of Down moved from Lebanon at age 7 to Los Angeles, and they are all Armenian. I think they have great talent, awesome music and seen em many times live and they get better every show. My only disagreement with them is how they believe war is soo bad even when we got no other option such as the " Operation IraqI Freedom". Yes it can be ugly but just imagine if Saddam or another terrorist or madman got a hold of one of those chemical or nuclear weapons? There would be thousands, and million more deaths than there would for innocent people than war, so in my opinion I feel goin to war with Iraq is exactly what we need and once the Iraqi people understand we are there to give them peace, and freedom they have never had, it'll be a wonderful thing. People spend too much time bitching about our country when they should be happy and proud we have people to go to another country to make they're lives better and safer, but no they still bitch. well first off that song sucked ass... and the only reason it will get seen is because it has the war theme. Just like that guy that sang, "i'm proud to be an American, cuz at least i know i'm free" That sound was only popular during the gulf war and now. It's a sleezy way for these people to make a buck.

think about it. System of a down is trying to make money off this song which is a result of a war.. go figure.
