syringe disposal

I have A LOT of syringe/needles. I do not like the idea of putting these in a trash and someone getting stuck with biohazardous material.

Does any one use public resources like a hospital to give needles to? Just curious if they have a "don't ask don't tell" policy in case I bring in 200 syringe/pins because these NYC hospitals are crawling with cops.

surprisingly, doing a search with "syringe disposal" turned up nothing relevant.

I usually take a solid plastic creatine container and fill them into there - then hot glue the fucker shut, and write SHARPS INSIDE, BIOHAZARD - STEROID NEEDLES, and throw em down the trash chute.

I use cans, like beer/coke/protien drink. Fill em up with the sticks and crush the hell outa them with a big hammer. No way they will get out to harm anyone.

I use the big plastic protein containers with the top on I throw it in the regular trash.

protein containers....dont throw them in your own trash. go to a car wash or some dumpster.

Take the pin off and put inside the barrel. Then stick the plunger back in where the pin will stick into the plunger. This way no one will get stuck.

That's what I do, then I wrap it in some tissue and and throw it in the trash... Just so it's not discernable at a glance

i just walk into my local hospital and get a free sharps container(no questions asked) then go home fill it and return it, they dispose of it for free and there are NO questions asked, dont want needles ending up in the hands of children.

i cut the needle off and throw the rest in the dumpster...as for the needle, that goes down the sewer.

Liquid laundry detergent containers work as well. Just pull the plastic spout off.

Last thing you want his joe the HO-BO sticking himself in the trash and going to the National 6 months later LOL. MOFO would be waiting outside for his next cycle. Before you know it he's holding a sign that says "fuck money give me TEST"

Damn, ive just been putting the caps back on them, putting them back in their wrapper and then in the trash.

well i decided I was going to dispose of my pins every week. then each week went by and i kept thinking, i will put it in a plaistc container and put it in some dumpster. more weeks pass and now i'm thinking that I have to many needles to dispose of at one time...now I have 10lb tub of N Large Pro filled 3/4 with used pins. Damn!

i'm going to see about getting a sharps container at a hospital.
