syringe and needle

does anyone know where I can get 25 gauge 1 inch needles with the 3cc syringe seperate? The ones I have been getting come all together but I prefer the screw on. - cbeaks

that's where I ordered from before. You can't get a 3cc syringe by itself. You can just get 5,10, 20 and 60cc's

you can get the syringe with needle combo in 25g 1", then just order extra 20g pins to draw your solution.

why do you need to draw solution with separate needle and then inject with another? could you not just use the same needle for both?

You could but:

1) The needle is not as sharp, so its gonna hurt more. Yes, you can tell.

2) Higher risk of infection.

Hmm... no. I wouldn't think it would affect sharpness if it was open. My amps have always had the rubber membrane on top, so it always has dulled them.

Sterility... once the needle has contacted ANYTHING, I don't want to put it in me. Once the amp is opened, I consider the surfaces of it, like around the top, unsafe.

Needles are dirt cheap... so I'll always switch.

Actually, I can't get needles alone here, so I just use 2 syringe/needle packs per injection.

thanks, I appreciate that. The syringe/needle combo I have been using has broken a couple of times while injecting so I know the screw in needle won't do that. - cbeaks

Yea i always use a seperate needle now to draw.

I had the break top Omni amps i taped the side of the glass w/ the pin. I noticed the difference what a bitch hurt more.

Well it's alot easier to draw with a 18-21 gauge pin. It will take forever and a day to get a thick oil based solution into a 25 gauge pin. Also like to keep it as sterile as possible along with using a sharp pin.
