Synthetic HCG?!

WTF is synthetic HCG? Is there a difference between human derived HCG and synthetic HCG?

What brands are human derived and which are synthetic?

So brand names are human derived? And those like the ones UG labs sell (generic yellow tops) synthetic HCG?

It is genetically engineered using recombinant dna technology. Ovidrel is one of the brands. Also referred to as rHCG opposed to uHCG (urinary). Its good stuff. Works just like regular HCG.

Works exactly the same? No difference? There must be some sort of difference. Perhaps in how well it works? Or in side effects?

Ovidrel comes in 250mcg which is equivalent to 10000iu of regular HCG. It is stronger but both are equally effective in PCT. Both Ovidrel and uHCG are made up of an alpha and beta subunit. Their alpha sub units are both identical to the alpha sub units of LH, FSH and TSH. So they both act as LH 'analogs' to kickstart natural test biosynthesis. Testosterone levels peak around 4 days after either an uHCG or rHCG shot. Serum plasma levels of uHCG and rHCG both peak between 1 and 1.5 days after injection. Very little difference. Its like the difference between oldschool HGH taken from human pituitary glands and recombinant HGH that we use now. Ovidrel is more stable than urinary HCG but has the same effect for PCT on testosterone. Synthetic HCG is the future though but it is still quite new. I know of a lot of people who swear by it.

I prefer the pregnyl but it is never available as the supply is not effectively endless. As an aside, my wife's reproductive endo put her on ovidrel but complained it was only b/c no one has pregnyl (nationwide shortage). either way it must have worked.
