BBer are famous for their anti-sodium fight

But when you do cardio, and sweat like a horse, I guess we lose a lot of that sodium

Does that mean that we can take some extra sodium (no limit) with our meals to compensate those losses ?

i do otherwise i'd bloat like michelin queen :worried:

of course if you do cardio, it's a must i'd say. no one seems to use salt as a condiment and sodium in food is so low alreay.

why is everyone so ANTI-sodium???

(too much) sodium = water retention

a steak w/o added salt = tasteless :worried:

I use sodium replacement tablets.

You often hear that you need proper electrolyte balance to sweat, and while that's somewhat true, just that salt alone is enough to make me seriously sweat.

Still, for the IDEAL and PERFECT electrolyte balance, you need Ultima (see my sig). It's the only sports drink that has it.

Dude , how do people do leg workouts without sodium??? I guess people don'
t superset leg excersizes like I do , but a leg workout without electrolyes is like sex without a partner... I know there are other eletrolyes besides table salt.

I just posted on Brunettes thread about this.
I don't get enough. But this weekend I had more than normal.

I sweated more than I usually do.
And also your muscle need sodium to work more efficiently

I've just experienced the same thing

I upped my sodium intake and I feel much better (both w/ weights and cardio)
