I think you can say almost anything except "fuck" and a few other choice words on cable stations. Not sure about the FCC regulations, but the banned list used to be WAY bigger. At one point, you couldnt say "funk" b/c it SOUNDED LIKE fuck. There was also a time when the word "pimp" as not allowed.

swearing on tv means nothing to me, i cant believe people get hung up over it, words are just words,

swearing on tv is no problem, a problem is the homeless kids on the street, a problem is terrorists that can strike at anytime.....

Its not up to the networks to educate kids and young ones.... its the PARENTS for Christ sakes!!! If the TV show is to violent, to gory, to sexual and contains fucking cussing, the parent(s) should tell their young one's that they're not allowed to watch that sort of show!!!

While I will agree with this statement, the problem I have is when I'm watching a family movie with my kids (10 and 6 year olds) and it will break for commercials and other shows are advertised and they show exerpts of those shows and there is foul language. That's my only beef with the networks.
