For those of you who do suspended GMs. What kind of heights do you use (in relation to your body)

Whats the highest you go? Whats the lowest?

Last sunday i did Wide arched back gms, the bar was up to my mid\low abs

set the chains low for suspended gms. somtimes it take me more time to get under the damn bar then it does to lift it. the bar is set to below my waste. imo supsended gms are more for your deadlift so you need to set the bar low as if you were getting down to the bar for a pull.

Well, I've read where Louie suggests 30" or so. I think that Bob Youngs said 36". Either of those are freaking low for me, 6'5". I usually set them at two or three different heights, depending on how good I feel that day. I prefer to use the highest setting, which is about a 8"+ range of motion. I'm not sure what others use, this is just what seems to work for me.

SSBar we will do from 36" to work more of the deadlift. Straight bar we will work from 44" to hit more of the squat.

Here's a good rule of thumb on bar height -- set it at your balls, and for those women out there -- set it where you balls would be if you had them. Now, if you're a woman and you have your guys balls in your purse, gym bag, pocket or where ever else then that doesn't count:)
