survivors in rubble

a phone call came in recently from a man who was trapped in the rubble... he's with 2 police officers... they are doing okay and are able to give precise directions to their location... resucue workers have to wait a few more hours until the smoke dies down, they expect, all things staying somewhat stable, to get these guys out...

small signals of hope like this are always helpful to help us to deal with this...

Thanks for posting that...I was hoping they'd find some people alive as they search through the rubble...I hope they will reach people like that in time.

i think they're saying that this is in surrounding areas, the WTC itself is unlikely, but many many people are probably trapped in surronding buildings/roads ect.
