Support AAP

New member
He bookied a fight and got creamed. He is WAY deep in the red right now. Some times we get caught up in making a great thread for betting and we don't realize what the worst case scenario may be.
He is a great guy and a big contributor to this board.
If AAP has helped you with training, made you laugh or is just your friend please find it in your hart to hit him with some karma.
I know it may be frowned upon to ask this of everyone. This is a longstanding member who could use a little help though.

I am a junkie and bound to lose my shirt on the bookie forum eventually. I have not had the guts to sponsor an event yet, though I will for the November elections.

Plus AAP is a great liberal to debate. I'll do what I can.

we need to have a telethon for him... some of his k was spongbobs....

I have been where he is. It kind of sucks. You get excited about putting up an event. You want everyone to get excited so you make a big money event. You think the action will be even.
Then everything goes against you and you never thought of it happening. Its not fun.

Wouldn't this be enabling his gambling problem? LOL. I'm just kidding. I'll give some love.

LOL at Longhorn being the first to donate some via the karma store. They go back and forth like they are married.
I hit him and transfered some.
Anyone else?
How about all the guys and girls that bet on that event?!?!?!?

AAP will contact BRR and BRR will do two clicks in his mod/admin control panel and AAP will be straight chilling.

If it was a real Bookies who got busted would you have sympathy? No you wouldn't. Lifes like that.

Look, he put on an event, got slammed, and thats his bad luck.

I'll go to bed tonight and sleep very well anyhow thank you very much.

both him and 75th were just trying to make it interesting
and they succeeded

lol @ hammy saying to support him!

c00per's pics in this thread are awesome

I will donate. Its for a good cause.

cOOper---you crack me up!!! seriously! almost ruined another keyboard. That would have been devistating. Another day or two without me posting...I am sure people would have shed tears! teeheehee

Thanks everyone. I think he will appreciate the help. I doubt he would have ever asked for it either.

where has this cooper guy been all this time

I have been away for the past month taking care of something and now I am just trying to get a bit of a laugh as I need it. Just venting through pictures.

... and now back to our Telethon for AAP.

Come on people, if we don't give him enough k to keep him in the bookie forum then he will be here ... hitting on all the guys.

:D

As an incentive we should hit all the people that xfer k via the karma store so that they regroup some of what they donated.
Everyone could post up what they donated and the next person who posts can confirm it.

Cool, so we're having a telethon for those who gave to the first telethon? Seriously should anyone be made to be embarassed about how much or little they gave?

Like, if I gave a lot would everyone think that I have a secret man-crush on AAP?

Well I gave him 100,000 before the 10% fee. What the hell would that mean? :worried:

I have one question to ask you guys.

If the tables were turned and he got to keep all the karma wagered on his events, do you think he would donate it back to you?

This doesn't mean I won't hit him, I'm simply making a point.

Have I ever been stingy with karma? I even gave angel and needto over 150000 before.

That's an understatement!

his events have always been total give aways though, i've cashed in a couple times with some nice pile ons.

I just like him. It doesn't have anything to do with his wager.

Believe it or not, I'd give you the same if you needed it.

We're talking specific people who placed bets in your event, not people you randomly choose to receive karma via the store. It's not fair to say you deserve some karma after losing it if you never had intentions of refunding the bets (if the events turned out differently). Don't get me wrong, I think all the bookie events you have hosted were awesome...it's nice seeing unique events like that as opposed to the usual NFL, MLB and NBA. People have been banned from the bookie forum for doing the same thing: hosting events with swolled up odds and limits they know would send them into red should the worst happen. Now the worst has happened and because your intentions were pure, you're not being punished like musclemuscle, DBBT or slat1 were (bannage from the bookie room). I know you only wanted to liven up the place, which is why you deserve some karma hits from us peeps (the fact you're a solid bor and contribute tons of info to EF helps too).

You have to realize there are a select few of us who recognize and jump on a bad line(s).

In the future, if anyone wants to host a different event out of sheer excitement and not to try and build a quick K stack, send myself, 4everhung, or redguru a PM. We'll gladly help you out :)

Oh I like AAP too, he's one of my favorite peeps on EF...you don't have to justify giving him karma...I'm just making a point...you know...shedding light on both sides of the story.

Let me ask you this. What if you bet 100,000 karma hits on his event yet didn't win anything back. However, he still managed to find himself in the red after settling the very same event in which you lost 100,000 karma hits on...

Would you still feel like he deserved more of your karma?

I used to cash in on the early days when folks would put 5/1 on major league baseball games...

The people that normally do this know better. 5-1 odds should be on an event that has multiple winners or a pick in a tournament that has a low bet. Like the numbers for the powerball for instance in a bookie event. If you got them all right , it should be a high winning but you amount you initially pay is low.

Not for betting it in the bookie forum, no. I think he's deserving in general, though - because he'd never ask for karma. The same cannot be said for everyone on this board.

selfish karma jew!!!

I would donate more but I lost another 300,000 last night. That makes 800,000 in two days of betting. Time for me to stop again.

Awesome job everyone. We did over 1.6 Million worth of karma in only ONE AND A HALF DAYS!!! Hammy is shitting his drawers over this.

I have to add the rest of everyones names to the list as well.
