Suppliments...

ExtraMile

High End Bro
Platinum
Ok so I've been lookin into taking suppliments and I was wondering about creatine...

I was wondering, if I have my cereal breakfast, a school diner, and then a cooked diner at home.. what other sorts of things will I need to eat? Or can I just take it on its own? Like before I workout?

thanks.

instead of focusing on creatine i would focus on whey protein and a multivitamin right now. you can pick up 5lbs of protein at sams club for $28.00. Anyways with nutrition, eat a lot of whole grain oatmeal, eggs, brown rice, tuna, yogurt, chicken breast, green vegetables like spinach and green beans, almonds, berries (high in fiber) and don't eat anything horrible for you such as fast food. It's more up to you than the creatine to get huge bro. good luck.

I'd have to agree with iggy. Creatine is a good sup, but from the limited amount of info you posted, I'd have to say that you can still probably get way more benifit by working on your diet and picking up a multi-vitamin than by taking creatine. The extra protien supp is a good way to start. Begin reserching how many grams of protien you may need in a given day, and how frequently you should try to time your meals.

OK, what other sort of information do u need to know?
I have never changed my diet for weight lifting, because I dint think I needed it, I thought only serious weight lifters did, who wanted to get like massive, but heres is what I had to eat yesterday :
Breakfast (dont always have breakfast) - Cinnamon Grayhems (type of cereal)

Snack at brake time - Cereal Bar, small twix or kitkat etc, cheese string, carton of juice, about 200ml, cheese bread from school, egg muffin from school

Example of a School Lunch - 2 Southern Fryed Chicken in Seeded bread baps ( everyone calls me fat cuz they are pretty massive, two innocent smoothies (again most people only have 1), gingerbread man or flapjack, apple

[1.5litre bottle of water throughout the day at school]

When I Get Home From School - Bowl of cinnamon grayhems with chopped fruit

Tea - Home made (made from packet of pasta, and differant ingredients eg lamb, peppers, onions etc) Lamb Bolognaise and pasta

Before Bed (dont always have it) Somtimes bowl of cereal, glass of milkshake.

Byt the "school lunch" I'm assuming you're in highschool which means that you get a limited choice for lunch schedual. I feel your pain. Proper nutrition is tough when you don't get your own say for what you eat.
It seems like one of the biggest mistakes you're making is with your protien intake. It didn't look like you were getting enough, even for a relatively normal person who exercises regularly.
First of all, I'd stop with the cereal and start going with a flavored oatmeal. I go with a plain, but to start, a flavored one is a good way to get used to it. The reason is that the quality of the carbs from it is much higher than the refined sugars that your going to get in a cereal. I like to mix in a scoop of vanilla protien power in with mine, especially at breakfast when your body really needs some protien (its been starving all night, and needs some protien to continue building muscle).

Bottom line... I'd recommend doing more reserch on dieting. Learn how many grams of protien you need in a given day. For a month or so really monitor what you take in. Pretty soon you'll start to get the feel for how many carbs/protiens you've had, and how many more you need, and you won't have to keep such a keen eye on it. You'll just know.

Alright then so if i keep a map of what I eat for a week or so, then I'll try and improve it, and keep doing that for a month, then if I pm you, would you tell me how I'm doing?

basically extramile, hes saying quit eating all that sugary cereal, and replace it with chicken, tuna, veggies, yogurt, oatmeal, allnatural peanut butter, berries and more healthy food. try eating healtier cereals like kashi, allbran, or fiberone.
the abs diet book by david zinczenko taught me a lot about my metabolism and body. Stay away from fried chicken and fried foods. i would recommend bringing food to lunch. i did it in my high school years.
