Xanax
Marijuana
Crack
Heroin

caffeine always lifts my mood, even when work depresses me it gives a more optimistic look into things...plus is cheap!

I have noticed that the energy I get from Thermorexin gives me a lift in spirit. However, when I first go off of it, I am beat and a little down.

EFA's and B-complex vitamins. Science backs both up on numerous studies.

Everthing else everyone mentioned is either a joke or dead wrong.

Caffiene does make me pretty damn happy in the morning, though :coffee:

This is right....the only supplement I would add to this is maybe cAMP. It gives a feeling of "well being", like being able to handle anything that comes along in a rational manner. I used it as a fat loss aid last contest prep, and ended up using it much longer due to the well being feeling it gave me. I mean, level headed in the face of all problems. I think it will be a staple for me. I swear by B-Complex and fish oil also. Take as much B-Complex as you like, it is water soluble and cannot be overdone. Get a B stress complex.

Wrong.

St. Johns Wort is backed by many studies.

True enough; maybe "dead wrong" was a bad choice of words.

Recent studies are showing St. John's Wort to be no more effective than a placebo.

Check here for the basics, and check

this link for a whole shwack of pages with info.

The bottom line is more studies need to be done; This isn't uncommon with OTC supplements. Once toted as "highly effective" and "the greatest supplement since sliced bread!", newer studies are punching holes in the science (or lack thereof) of older studies. Think glutamine. :)

I usually take phenibut just like twice a month on weekends in place of or to cut back on drinking. I usually take like 3-5g which is a pretty high dose.

If you take it with alcohol, it can give you a wicked hangover.

With chocamine, I use it instead of coffee at ~1.5g twice a day. It's effects are a lot more subtle than phenibut. But, like someone mentioned before about coffee, it makes me pretty happy in the morning. I'm not sure how much caffeine it actually has in it, but 1.5g seems to get me going pretty good.

I've never taken rhodiola rosea myself, so I don't really know what the dosing is I think like 1g/day split into two dosings, I've heard a lot of people give it postitive feed back, so I threw it in there, plus it's pretty cheap(~$40/350g).

Do you have any links to info on cAMP? I don't think I've heard of it till now... a quick search on google yielded a few random results for cAMP-biotin, is that the correct supp?

^^^ Is this a joke? A Plat member with "Board Sponsor" that's a spammer? What's the deal, Mods?
We are supposed to be the main board sponsors now. So hopefully that gets cleared up, or banners up, and the AX forum created by Monday.

We never try to pimp things only educate people on our products (that if taken wrong you can hurt yourself)

For this tread my personal choices are:

chocamine, rhodiola rosea ---rosea is a great thing.

Gotcha, Ryan. Sorry for jumping the gun :)

SAM E is also a good one. It is actually a compound our bodies produce from the amino acid methionine. SAMe helps create neurotransmitters (such as seratonin) in the brain that regulate mood.

Threre was a study I read a while back done at Harvard I believe it was that researchers found SAMe to be as effective and work more quickly than prescription antidepressants. Typical doseage is 400 mg. 3-4 times per day.

some of the amino acids may work.
tyrosine, phenylnalaline (howevever you spell it).
perhaps some others.

Just to add a bit more on this. The above mentioned is an excellent anti-depressant. However, adding deprenyl to this would almost certainly lift your mood. I believe deprenyl and DL-phenylalanine works better than any antidepressant currently in the market. Here are some studies and information:

BTW.. adding 300mg of PEA feels euphoric.. Best thing about it is that you get all the positive effects without experiencing tolerance or CNS meltdown.

if u want to improve your mood you gotta work on improving yourself. pills wont help.
try to examine what bothers you in your life, what you get angry at, what makes you mad, what you hate etc...
than get rid of all that junk and you will feel like a new person
good luck
