Super sleepy

The last few weeks the day after a big workout I've been extremely sleepy. I'm getting 7-9 hours of sleep a night on weekdays and as much as I need on the weekends (8-12).

One day last week I got home and since it wasn't a training day I took my shoes off, and layed down on my bed for a second. 4 hours later . . . I woke up.

Anyone experience this before?
 
When you're putting a load on your body like you do when working out and especially when doing full body workouts like on the 5x5 your body needs more rest to recover.
 
I've been pushing the squat really hard lately, and I've had the same thing happen. Been sleeping at least 9 hours every night, sometimes 10 or 11. Good news is that I hit 365x5 yesterday and finished off with 405x1 at 198 lbs. Bench is going up too. I'd say it's a good sign that you're training hard.
