I googled this but I am not really getting a straight answer, most say yes, it will cause water retention though.
I went tanning for the first time in forever, and stupidly went into the turbo bed.
Anyways, I got a REAL nasty burn. It has not blistered, but it was red/purple.
It made me sick as well, so I could not really eat the next day. I stayed on my diet (cutting right now) pretty much throughout Friday (day after tan) and Saturday. We did get some mexican Saturday night.
I was weighing in at 219 on Thursday, but when sunday rolled around and I could actually move, I weighed myself and it said 227. I went to the gym and worked out, came back and it said 227 still.
I sweat a little at the gym. Before I would sweat like a pig. I noticed also that when I do sweat in the areas of the burn, little bubbles of water form.
I worked out tonight, good workout and sat in the sauna for about 10 minutes. those bubbles were EVERYWHERE. I weighed in at 225 still.
Am I holding a large amount of water because of the burn?
