Suggestion to Mods

There are countless posts you all have to track down from newbies who break the rules. Honestly many of them dont even know where to find them. Is it possible for you to make reading and acknowledging the rules a part of the registration process? I think if you could it would be a great idea...then there is no question they know the deal. At that point if they break em just ban away. Just a thought.

It's part of the TOS that everyone agrees to when they register. We also have the "Newbies please read this" sticky on the top of the Anabolic forum.

However considering people still PM me and email from accounts that aren't secure when my signature clearly says not to, another warning probably won't do much.

Unfortunately even if someone is BLATANTLY breaking the TOS the regular Mods cant do anything about it except move the threads...:o

Like if Joe Scammer came on and spammed the board with 100 different threads about his scamming website, then there are only a small handful of "Elite" Mods here who can BAN members. (and the Anabolic boards Mods who are REAL regulars who are here consistently, they CANT BAN anyone :()

Doesnt matter what you do, you cant keep a dumbass from doing something stupid. I mean most of the rules that are broken are common sense and people still do it. It is like homeland security, you can only protect so much and if some crazy bastard walks in with a bomb on him and blows himself up, how do you prepare for that? It would be nice not to see threads started that say Where can I get.... whatever. Maybe there should be a 30 day no thread start for newbies. If they are interested enough and serious, they can log on and read(which most need to do anyway before asking stupid ?s) and they will see how we conduct ourselves and then they can post. If they do something stupid then, ban that ass with a quickness. my .2

i just joined this "club" recently and i have broken the rules . . . . and i read the rules. It happens, you just remove the threads and inform the newbies . . . . after all the flaming they get they'll fucken read'em good like i did so it doesnt happen again :)
everybody is a "newbie" at one time or another

breaking the rules once doesnt get anybody banned.. just flamed a bit. no bigee.

you live and learn. i sure did at first.

lol good points everyone.....I just thought it would be a way to get people to read the rules ahead of time...I have crazy utopian thoughts like that at times they just pop out of my remaining four brain cells.
