When sugar is converted into fat, does it still have 4 calories, or does it have 9, or is it just converted into 4/9 of a gram of fat? Anybody know?

No he meant if say you body decided to store a gram of sugar as fat would it become a gram of fat? NO

It would probably be around 3/9s of a gram of fat.

Some calories are used in the conversion process.
You body isn't going to be able to make 4 calories into 9 calories. Possibly for every 3 grams of sugar you body decides to store as fat you body would store it as 1 gram of FAT.

12calories -3from conversion(big estimate no idea how much is lost) = 9 or 1 gram of fat.

There was a recent article I read that said something like the average overweight person comsumes about 800 calories a day more than they should. That would be 200grams of added weight a day if nothing was lost in conversion and the weight went on sugar gram for sugargram instead they would gain about 66 +2/3rds grams a day. Still a helluva lot to be gaining 365days a year.
