Substitute for Dextrose

Is there a good substitute for dextrose? Something that can be easily bought instead? They dont sell it on my country.

I've been taking high GI carbs post workwork to facilitate recovery. For example white bread

You should be able to buy dextrose from a brewing supplier. If you drink beer in your country.

i'm using sucrose(table sugar) to get the insulin burst, until i receive my dextrose in the mail. SHould do the same thing for now....

I love beer. But i dont think they sell it to the general public.

Look for maltodextrin. That should do it for you.

Dextrose might come under another name, so look into it. Where are you from? Sometimes I eat mashed potatoes, baked potatoes but I guess the liquid form of carbs would be better.
