Subscribe to a Thread?

I know how that I can subscribe to a forum, but how do I subscribe to a thread? I assume that once I do this, it will keep me posted on my profile page to any updates.

Not important most of the time, but ocassionally there are posts that I like to keep up with...

once you post your automatically subscribed i thought

If you go to the bottom of the page, you can click on a link that will subscibe you to a thread. It's next to "email this page" and "show printable version".
