stupid question about coffee

how do people drink coffee every day ?
it always burns my tongue real bad, even if i try different ways of drinking it
so unless i let it sit for at least 5 minutes and feel like a retard, i find if very difficult to tolerate

is there just a point where u get used to it, or am i just as stupid as this post is?

McDonalds coffee (as an example) is 10 degrees above the boiling point of water, it is about 235. so it is possible that your coffee is about 30-40 degrees too hot.

just go to CVS and buy caffeine pills. that is what i do.

Alright maybe you are foo-foo! Alright I'll admit it, I go to Starbucks on a daily basis. I drink the Venti coffee with a double shot of espresso. 3 sweet & lows and half and half. I can't stop. Never burn my tongue and always taste it before I leave the store.

No, Starbucks doesn't boil their coffee. Neither do most establishments. Your just buying it from some place or making it too hot is all. I let mine sit for a couple of minutes before I drink it too. It's no biggie.

I use to be a 3 shot esspreso guy.

And i said no I would like a medium.

and he said a vente'

ans I said no, a medium.

thw whole time he talked to me in his lisp.

so quite innocently, while others were around.....i said......wow! where are you from,

and he said...what do you mean?

and I said are you from a different state?

and he said .ah no?

and I said, then where did you get that accent?

he...got flustered after I said that, and said he was born here.

and I said OH?

and some granny in an electric wheel chair was laughing in the corner.

there is still hope when granny can laugh with a mouth full of denture pleasure

AH..... a woman after my own heart ! Dunkin is the best. I have to travel to baltimore every month and all they have arounfd the office is that Krispy Kreame crap.

Nothing like sitting on the couch with the wife on a saturday afternoon and drinking a med black and watching a movie. Very relaxing.

I also don't drink HOT HOT Coffee but like it kinda real warm instead.
