nautica New member Sep 27, 2001 #1 I know this is going to sound stupid. BUT. Since DNP was used as a precurser in TNT an explosive. Will dogs at customs be able to smell it when looking for explosives.. I know they are upping the security and will be checking for explosives.

M mitch1301 New member Sep 27, 2001 #2 I don't think so because they don't use dinitrophenol for this purpose anymore. I say this because if its not used anymore then the dogs wouldn't be trained to pick up on the scent. Good question though. Later Mitch
