How deep are you into your student loan, or how deep have you been?

Right now i owe about 15 grand

Oh god i feel sick.

(My loan is in Canadian dollars)

I'm fixin' to be in for some, but probably not too much as long as I have this job and can take classes for $5 a credit hour.:D

If you currently have student loans you can consoladate for under 5% right now. Stretch the term out and the payments end up being pretty reasonable.

It is very cheap money

I have no clue what mine is - I have it all automatically deducted and I haven't looked in awhile.
I know that I pay $300 a month towards it though.

zilch :)

Man all this tells me is that I better bust my ass once school starts so I can get some scholarships. I'm not down for phat debt...

lots

I think im the hole around $25,000 .. 3 year Ba in Kin at western U.. I make good money so I shouldnt take me alot longer to pay it off.. I have a friend thats doing his masters at queens and he's in the $50,000 range so I dont feel that bad...

Exactly when shit gets tight dont your folks help you out? remind them that your success will bring them great fortune in the future.:)

what if you parents couldn't help you out?

I know for a fact that neither of my parents could help me out with any of my financial stuff, and there is no way I would ever ask them to pay for my loans, let alone expect them to bail me out because I didn't plan it corrently and fucked up somehow.

it is stressful on me, but there it is my life and there is no need to put the stress on them.

were they wealthy, then I guess that's an option, but they aren't.

My parents took out a few loans and helped as much as they could.. school for me cost 15K a year... I don't know many people that can just dish out net 15K a year..

40 grand here... UofM but now I have transferred to a different school and I pay tuition up front. So no bills from that school, just alot of parking tickets.
