once upon a time (last year ;) ) there was a young female hairdresser who hit on a certain looking really good young man (meeeeee :p) and managed to scam him into taking her out for a coffee after some hairdressers competition (a stupid excuse for haidressers and "hair models" to get together, spend half a day bitching about each other and gossipping, then get riotously drunk in some hotel afterwards)

aaaaanyway while this girl was trying to turn me on (she succeeded lol) she was telling me that it was her fantasy to be a stripper. now, i thought it was all bullshit designed to get me into a lust crazed frenzy and do something scandelous on a park bench (;)) until just a couple of months ago when i overheard a bit of gossip about some hairdressing stripper with the same name :evil: sooooooo i asked some of my little birdies to sing for me, and lo and behold, my coffee buddy had realised her dream, and was the latest dancer in the newest, most "upscale" mens club in the city (upscale in the northern territory = youre only allowed to be missing 2 teeth MAX)

so. there you go. it happens.

oddly, im wondering how much time she spends styling her underwear afro ;) lolol i should give her a buzz and call her out on it ;)

Eh, I don't see much harm in stripping. So, some girl gets naked and makes several hundreds of dollars each night. I would say its the men you should feel sorry for for being such horny little fools. The way I see it, the strippers are the ones weilding the power, in that case...lol.

As far as prostitution goes, it should be legal. Victimless crimes are bullshit, in my opinion. Now, if your religion forbids that sort of thing then you should just refuse to participate. I mean, are we going to outlaw bacon in this country because some religions don't want to participate? Oh, I forgot, we only outlaw things that Christians don't like. If prostitution were legal, you would obviate the need for pimps, could prevent the spread of STD's, could prevent lots of women from being beaten, raped, or even murdered, and could benefit from the tax revenues of a legal profession.

I'm just saying.

I agree........In a previous Life I used to bang them cuz they were easy targets....The truth is that many of them are drug addicts and cant get up early for a real job and have connections to drugs at work real easy. Too many people have no respect for themselves in this day and age (I am guilty of this in the not so distant past as well). Our society glorifies drugs, alcohol, sexual inhibition...etc......Many good people are a waste of space from it.

No, I have never nor would ever be a hooker, but I think the logical thing to do is to make it legal for the previous reasons given.

Secondly, my fella knows all about that now and isn't pissed in the least at me, so you need not worry yourself about it.

Thirdly, must you end every post with "just sayin?"

I didn't say anything about it being morally acceptable, of course it would be better if it were a profession of "healthy individuals." The point was that legalization would make it safer for both the men and women involved, amongst other reasons for legalization.

by the way, I don't smoke pot or take steroids, either. However, I feel like those should be legalized too.

Get the point? Just cause those things are not for me doesn't mean I want to force my choices on the rest of us.

When did I say it is okay? I said it should not be illegal. That is different. Some of us seperate legality and morality. I personally think that it is less moral to lie to someone to get some booty than to pay someone to get some booty, but I don't want to make throwing down game illegal, either...lol.
