Stress definitely plays a huge role in our daily lives, whether we realize it or not. Sometimes stress can be noticed, other times it just creeps up on you and works its magic.
6 months ago I gave the go ahead for my girlfriend to move in with me. It was cool for about 4 days. I then realized what a mistake I had made and that I had to live with this mistake until I had the audacity to say "sorry, this is not going to work, please move out". She left about 3 weeks ago. We lived together for 6 months exactly. In that 6 month period I lost 10 pounds. I kept wondering what the hell was going on. Diet was the same, strength was the same, everything seemed the same except for the "things" I had to cope with when it came to my girlfriend. In the 3 weeks she has been gone I have gained 14 pounds, weighing 237 right under 7% b fat, my lifts are strong as hell all around and the pumps I have are downright beautiful. I have not changed my diet, training or anything, just the lack of her presence. All this time she was living with me it was consistent, unnoticed stress that was eating at my body. Everyone is somewhat gullible to an extent when it comes to certain subjects; stress has taught me a lesson. I had no clue stress could get you like that.
Can you folks relate to stress?
