strength and the female cycle

does anyone notice variations in strength or endurance over their menstrual cycle, and if so, what have you experienced?
 
Yep! I'm stronger the week before my period...presumably progestrone levels are higher so this accounts for some strength increase.

When i'm training on my rag I tend to get really weak, can't do the last set without more than usual of a struggle, can't run quite as fast, I guess the word is sluggish, i just feel gross when i workout rather than pumped like i usually do.
 
I get stronger right before my period them there is a huge drop off for like two days. If I take a day off that's when I do it. (I hate days off) But after the two day slump I'm back to normal, though I wish i could feel as charged as I do right before all the time. I also have a wild appetite for fatty foods (anyone else get that?)
