So I'm riding home from Riverwalk Mall today, on the St. Charles streetcar line. The trolley stops for a light, then lurches forward when it turns green.
This white dude falls on this black guy standing up. I heard some words exchanged and CRACK. I look back and see this black guy's fist still swinging. He knocked this guy's fucking teeth in.
The white guy's like trying to get away and get off the streetcar, because it's stopped now because people were yelling at the driver that there was a fight.
But the driver won't open the door and the black guy keeps yelling and talking shit. So the black guy starts walking towards the front of the trolley, when the driver says, "If there's a fight on here, no one's getting off until someone goes to jail." The black dude then jumps out one of the windows and takes off running.
Eventually, the cops showed up, we got off the streetcar and got onto another one. I saw the white guy talking to the police, his mouth was really bloody.
Just fucked up, I'm not a violent person, and someone'd have to push me REALLY far before I did something like that guy did.

BTW - My description of the two people as black and white isn't meant as racist in any way, it was just the most distinguishing characteristic.
