is it ok to store multi use vials on their side? i heard that the rubber stopper can degrade from the oil. is this true. im packing to move in about 4 weeks. I had to lay a few vials on its side when I packed them way.

I've heard the same thing, but I've never (yet) had a problem with them stored any which way.
I'd love to see some conclusive proof one way or the other.
might be one of those bs rumors. I just wanted to be sure. I know it can happen to the rubber in a syringe after like a year, the rubber melts. well I heard of it happening at least, no personal experience though.
Why are you packing them now if you are moving in 4 weeks? Pack them the day of so you don't even have to worry about it. Put plastic wrap over the top if you wish.

I've heard that same thing about the rubber stoppers breaking down, but I've never seen it, and I store most of my gear on the side anyways. I guess it could happen depending on how long you leave it on the side.
