Stop lifting during clen adminsitration and catabolic phase?

I have just finished my latest cycle. I am currently on clomid therapy and taking clen. I figure I should avoid weight training as this may amplify the catabolic phase. Is this a good idea? (Someone who knows about this please) :)

Is it OK to do cardio during the catabolic phase or will this amplify the post-steroid catabolic effect on my heart muscle? I have read that any sort of training helps maintain muscle mass, even if it swimming, running, etc.

You will still make gains because of clomid. I dont know your cycle but if you used sus or test, I definitley would hit it hard for a while. If you are too worried about losing mass, cut down your cardio. Anybody else??????
 
No, DO NOT stop lifting, just cut down your workout volume. People on calorie restriced diets lose considerably more muscle mass than people who perform resistance training- this has been verified through several peer reviewed studies.
 
Great! Two replies already. I haven't reduced my calories, I have actually increased them because of the clen. When I do cardio I add calories to compensate for what I burned.

Half my problem is that I can't stay away from the gym. I constantly have the impulse to train so I want some reason to go. I am the opposite of those people who have to drag themselves to the gym - I have to drag myself away.

OK I will go back to lifting. I thought doing light weights with high reps was a good idea but WAR says "NO!" - It will make the muscles shrink. Any advice?
 
no bro dont stop lifting. you might want to decrease the amount of sets so that you dont overtrain maybe even cut back by one day of lifting. dont overdo it with the cardio or you will loose muscle.

I agree with war on this one. IMO, you should lower the reps. That will come in handy later when all the juice is out of your body and you start doing higher reps with lighter weight and you will still feel strong as hell. But dont take it to extreme and cut 10 reps down to 5 and start stalking the plates. Just be moderate about it.
 
If you stop lifting it would get really catabolic (TO YOUR MUSCLES).
Just go a bit easier in the gym, with more reps.

I would also reduce the calories slightly (20%).......

ultragainz - what do you mean you can't lose muscle on clen???

So if you ate 0 calories, trained your bollocks off but took clen then no muscle loss would occur??? WFT?

Why would there be a need to bridge or take slin while off if clen took care of the muscle loss?? Please explain...
 
I agree with what's been said earlier. DON'T STOP LIFTING. This WILL make ur muscles shrink. Try and be a heavy as poss. Maybe not as many sets.
Keep ur protein intake high too! So u can maintain and build the muscle.
