Send some global warming my way. We need some. It's a bunch of crap to have govt control more of our lives. Or maybe to get the rest of the world to use less fuel so we can have more to burn. Seems like if a record high temperature is set anywhere it's a big global warming story, even if a 100 record lows are set elsewhere. West Virginia, sure as hell, has not been getting any of the benefits of this alleged warming.

Just because the natural disaster "count" is up how does that show a cause and effect related to so-called Global Warming?
Why do the Global Warming theorists/activists make a lot of noise whenever there is a heat-related castastrophe, yet remain quiet when there is a cold-related catastrophe?
It is because they have an anti-capitalist political agenda.

Yup but there's obviously a problem. Here in Montréal, 15 years ago, we used to have snow non-stop from november till early april. Some mornings, I would open my door and have a over a foot of snow in my driveway. Snow castles were common among us. Now forget about it. I was even doing a BBQ on december 30th. Something impossible and crazy 15 years ago....

I actually do not want to get too much involved in that topic, but i highly doubt that the biggest insurance company in the world has an anti capitalist agenda.

it's the same everywhere. Where I used to live in Spain. Snow was unknown in my region. Only something that was seen in movies. Ice/freezing ? Maybe once or twice a year. Ask Fonz too. He's from the same region as me. I'm not saying its global warming. But there must be a reason for that....

I don't doubt your recollection, but I'm sure that there are just as many folks who can tell of a place that seems a lot colder than it was in years past. We had the coldest winter on record in some parts of Texas and Oklahoma just a couple of years ago.

Environmentalism, in its current state, is a non-science. It is more like Walt Disney science, all Bambi and Lion King.
We only have about 200 years of decent temperature records and they try and make a case about human induced global catastrophes upon a world that is 6 billion years old. Understand this people, global temperatures change, thats the way the earth works.
In terms of the world and wildlife, they forget (or ignore) that it is dynamic and believe that any change in temperature or population is the end of the world and obviously caused by the evil "man", but they jump for joy at the thought of genocide for humans. 1000 red-testicled woodpeckers die of a disease and they scream that it is man who is killing them, yet they all advocate abortion, sterilization or government restrictions on human population growth.

Same thing with Denver. Kids used to be able to ice skate on the lakes and ponds of Denver. Now they can swim in January. There has been enough snow to snowmobile around Denver once in the past four years. Used to be that enough snow was availbale about 6 times a year at least. We also forgot what rain looks like.
I honestly don't know the cause but the weather has gotten funky. 70 degrees in the middle of January?
