Stop digging your own graves!

Good post, but I think that it is important to remember a few things. Some of these people are going to do gear whether or not people on this board condone it, and I believe it is better to educate someone rather than having an 18 year old going about it, not know anything about doses, anti estrogens, or possible side effects.

Thus, while no one should advocate gear use by teenagers, I think it would be more worthwhile if we tried to educate and warn younger people about the risks rather than merely flame them for being young, immature, or some of the crap I see people directing towards others.
 
im 20 and i have one cycle under my belt so far. With low doses and only cycling once a year where the harm being done??? I would think there would be more harm if someone was obese, malnutritioned, or smoked for instance......so whats this "digging your own grave" stuff about. sounds like BS to me unless u are a regular steroid user for most of your life
 
Great thread... good advocacy for proper AAS use.

I did my first cycle at age 28(4 years ago). I had over a decade of serious fitness behind me at that point. I never even considered using steroids before that.
 
I guess I was 25 or 26 when I did my 1st.

A guy that used to work for me turned me on to it as well as a 17yr old that worked with us.

I researched the shit out of the whole deal before I did anything and I convinced the 17yr old to hold off till I knew more about it.

I told him he should wait but that wasn't going to happen and I helped him as best I could.

You can guide and preach,but in the end their going to do what they want,esp these days.

What does one have to do with the other. I've noticed throughout the years that I've got more tail and been approached by more females during the times when I was far from my top physical condition. So what does that mean, not all women are as fickle as you think. The only reason one would need to be huge and jacked up to atract ladies is because they're too stupid to have a good rap. A slick tongue (and by that I mean your conversational skills, not oral sex) will always get you further w/ women than a flawless physique will, guaranteed.
 
Is there in fact evidence that use of AAS at any age increases the risk of prostate cancer?
I can't speak to what age AAS use is appropriate. Certainly, however, at least 3 to 5 years of dedicated training and diet would be in order prior to considering it.
Cycled first in my 40's, after gaining 20-plus pounds au naturel over a period of years.

Persaverance, dedication, discipline, and hard work are makes the difference. It dosen't matter if you are using are not.

learn how to train, and hoe to eat.
How maney guy s you see come in the gym start cycling and then 3 weeks after the cycles over they quit training until they obtain another cycle.
Longevity is the key to permit gains.

You have no business juicing before age of 21 (at the earliest), even 23-25 to be safer. And when you think you reached your plateau, take some time off from the gym, have fun, than come back and hit it even harder. Than do it again, and again.
I am 41 now, lifting weights for the past 20+ years, and just doing my first cycle ever. I spilled my guts on the gym floor over and over again, worked so hard as there was no tomorrow. I earned my right to jump on the roidwagon through blood and sweat and tons of patience. I packed 40 lbs of muscle in 20 years naturally. You think it took too long? I beg to differ. I am not saying to wait until you're in your 40s either, of course not, that was my personal choice.

Do yourself a favor and do it the right way. Don't cut corners and try to look for an easy way out. Be a man, do your own growing. Your body will thank you for it later in life. There is a lengthy list of health consequences if you start so early. And that is one thing in life that money cannot buy - your health. You are so young and so strong, and feel so indestructible. You think the world is at your feet. I know, I've been there. But 10 years from now you will look back and laugh at yourself - I guarantee it! You grow up the day you have the first laugh - at yourself.

You all have families and friends who need to have you around for many years to come. We are all here to help and advise, and will never tell you not to do it - just be smart about it. There is no meaning to life except the meaning man gives his life by the unfolding of his powers.
Unfold your own power step by step, set by set, rep by rep. Just like Conan the Barbarian grew slowly by pushing that huge wheel in the movie - there is a lot of symbolism in that scene.

Please don't be ignorant, listen and learn, arm yourself with knowledge. Education is progressive discovery of our own ignorance.

this has been all said before and for who it helps then great but you will see that even with this they will still try and be cool. i hope and wish they would listen but it is not always the case.

You're only 20, I wonder if you pushed yourself to the natural limits and reached your genetic plateau? I doubt it. You're taking a path of least resistance kid, stop fooling youself.

I probably didn't push myself to my natural limit. I'm 6'2" 245 12% bodyfat. I play NCAA track. I was using AAS as a training aid in the off season. I do not intend on using it after college unless I am gifted enough to make it to the world class level. I make good gains when I'm not on, just not as fast. I only have one shot at competing on this level, so I figure as long as I'm playing it safe, it is worth the risk. Just my way that I look at it.
