Ashlee Simpson is a joke, she is untalented and should be nowhere near the music industry. She is a disgrace to your label and music in general. There are thousands of unsigned bands working very hard, playing the dive clubs and barely getting by and you give her who hasnt worked a day in her life a contract and studio time and all other stuff just cause her sister is famous. Why do people care so much?
If you really dislike her, silence her to death. Remember all PR is good PR, and the more publicity she get's, the longer she'll stay in the spotlight.
What has she really done to deserve all this hated. Has she killed anyone, stolen from the poor, raped the innocent?
I've have to admit, I'm not that familliar with her music and her person in general. But apparently she had the audacity to lipsync on live television. Is that really so uncommon? Supposedly her music is awful and hideous. If that's reason to hate, there are a helluva lot of people out there that deserve my hatred. And she is also worse looking than her older sister, and apparently that's a big no no.
To me she's nothing more than a kid, acting like a kid and trying to make the best out of her life. Just like the rest of us. The only difference is that she has managed to do what most of us never will. Become rich and (in)famous.
So I ask again, why do you all care what this kid is doing?
If you like her, good for you. Enjoy it while it last.
If you don't like her, stop giving a fuck and focus on things you do like. It might be more enjoyable.

bah...I've allready signed this petition. Its been posted on every forum I frequent. You're not going to stop the Viacom/record industry alliance...what those corporations want to keep forcefeeding and circulating in american culture, they will do.
