Just when things were getting back to normal around here, now Stoops is most likely leaving. I can't say that I blame him, but it really sucks for the Sooner Nation!

Why Stoops?

Well i'm a Bama fan but here is my take on whether Stoops should head to florida or stay?

If he stays at Oklahoma, he can build them into a dynasty perhaps or at least he has that goal to shoot for.

If he goes to Florida what can he accomplish but continue with Spurrier's success. It will never be said that Stoops built FLorida.
The only place he has to go is down in Gatorland.

So why Leave? he makes 2million a year now so surely its not just the money although I understand florida will offer 3 million. But with what hes done in oklahoma, hes there for life, fucks up and loses at florida and hes gone. I just don't see what he has to gain by going to florida. He will never top spurriers success.....

But Hell i'm just glad an asshole like Spurrier is gone. Trust me, Spurrier will fall on his face in the pros and i'll love seeing that!!!!

I agree with you, but Florida has always been his dream job. A recent poll was taken from all college coaches on which job would be their drem job and Florida ranked # 1. I hope he stays, but we should find out today. The Florida AD is in Norman right now talking to the Stoops family.

And why the fuck did Weaver extend Coughlin's contract? The players hate the guy. Yes Mr. Owner, you like him. He seems nice as a man but as a coach he seems like a dick to his players.

Spurrier **could** help sell the outrageously priced tickets in JVille and help spark that offense.

The fans love him, Fred Taylor loves him, the players on JVille respect him and Brunell must be thinking "please give me a guy who will utilize my talents and not be a dick to me."
