Stew Meat, others: Using Proviron Testosterone Restoration?

Silent Method

New member
Ran across this, posted by Stew Meat, in a thread from a few months ago:
For instance, the cycle that I am on right now consists of:

core: testosterone, bolderone, and methandrostenelone

but I'm also using: Arimidex to fight estrogen, proviron to fight estrogen and to restore natural testosterone levels, clomid to restore natural hormone levels, HCG to restore natural hormone levels and retain gains from the cycle,
Now I know Stew knows what hes talking about, but I'm not familiar with proviron being used for this purpose. I'll assume that by acting as an anti-aromatase and keeping estrogen levels down one may fool the body into producing more testosterone? If so, wouldn't the arimidex fill that role?

I'm interested in this as well.. Formerly, proviron was doomed as an anti-natural-test drug.

thanks, Stew and others.

Andy

I think what he meant was he's using proviron to increase his Free Testosterone levels. Proviron has a high affinity for SHBG and will displace bound Testosterone resulting in a higher Free Test level. Proviron won't actually increase your Total testosterone.

Newbie question here - whats SHBG?

(Also, I know some people have felt they experienced hair loss with proviron. Does it bind to scalp receptors as is or is it converted to something else first? What I'm getting at is is proviron and finasteride an ok mix?)

SHBG- Sex hormone Binding Globulin. Proviron is a derivative of DHT so Propecia won't work. You can mix the two but there's really no point in taking both. It would be like taking arimidex then taking a birth control pill. Basically, lowering DHT with propecia and then replacing it with a DHT derivative would more or less just cancel each other out.
