steroinds and smoking?

Hi!
I want work for my body and the problem is that I'm too fat, also, I smoke much. I'm now trying to give up with smoking (found step-by-step manual - can anyone recommend something better?) and my question is if it's a good idea to take steroids and trying to quite smoking at the same time?

smoking and steroids is one of the worst things you can do to your cardiovascular system. Get on a diet, quit smoking, learn how to train, then after years of training naturally maybe consider researching steroids.

why would ANYONE interested in body building and improving themselves SMOKE FUGGIN' CIGARETTES?

JAYYSYSSSSSSS........

smoking is harder to quit then heroin (experienced with quitting both)......they now havea lazor treatment that they do (like 200-400$.....from everyone i talked to that had it done, said it worked right away, and have been off for months.)

Good thing to quit smoking and start a training program.....hang in there bro.......recomment before using gear, to get into a cardio program

just quit smoking. man up and do it
Second this notion..

It's all in you head dude.....I personally don't believe in "addiction". I believe if someone wants to quit, they can cold turkey the sonfab!tch at any time. The ones who say they are having problems quitting are too weak minded.

(yes, i have experience.....i drank for 4 years straight-HARD-......in the end i was having about 10 drinks a night during the weekday and drinking a bottle of rum a night on the weekends and then some......plus smoking occassionaly......and then quit it all in one day.)

if you aint got the will power to give up smoking then you aint ever gonna be able to keep to a STRICT diet! i smoked for 12 years and gave up without the aid of anything. its just willpower! you'll love the way you feel when you've gotten over the hard part.

thats all in your head bro. if you truly want to do someting, you will do it, no matter the circumstances. Dont let nicotine control you. Take control of yourself. It pisses me off just to think that a substance can control me.
although I think heroin and other such drugs is harder and a bigger deal, but ive never done those so i cant speak for that. the moral is , if you have enough determination and dedication and willpower to get something done, it will be done.

absolutly.....and thats how i quit.....its all a mental thing.....keep saying to yourself you can do it, and put the effort in it and you will.

The both of you are wrong for saying that shit. Addiction is a serious thing for many people no matter what it is you're addicted to-even steroids. I agree with the comment some one else made about it being a great idea to get into a different lifestyle like working out. The first week of quiting is the worse as your body is craving the nicotine. The change of lifestyle can be a great source of help and motivation to stay off the ciggs. Good luck.

its not wrong bro. I never said addiction isn't real. But it is a fact that it has alot to do with your mindset and overcoming mental obstacles.

it really is how much you want to. if you really want to quit, you will. i struggled for 5 years, quitting several times and relapsing. finally one morning i woke up with the usual heartburn, cough and hack and tarpit smell and said fuck this and threw my half-pack of smokes away and haven't looked back since. i stopped kissing my woman when she smoked and pretty much stayed away from her after she did and she finally quit 2 days ago, if nothing else, for her 14 year old son.

find excuses to continue or see the reasons to stop. addiction is just a concept of the mind.

its a new year.....good luck bro

No.

He needs to man up and quit. It's not like he's quitting heroin. It's cigarettes.. it's hard for 2 days and then it's smooth sailing. I've done it.

it's all in your head bro if u think u cannot just quit!!!
- i smoked pot from 18 to 26 on/off and every day from about when i was 26 till about 3 months ago...i just woke up 1 day and weighed my options...do i want to blow $10-20/day, fuck up my lungs, piss of my wife, waste time, kill brain cells, hamper my training, risk getting caught since i always had it on me, OR should i just quit, and have the opposite of all those...i just snapped and said quit u dumb fuck...! i'm almost 32 now, have a beautiful 20 month old boy, hot wife who ain't down w/ drugs, bad enough she's been putting up w/ my juice habit since we met, i smoked enough. i'm done being a habitual user of pot...i'm not saying i'll never smoke again, sure at a party or special occasion, or maybe out fishing, or a nice walk on beach, special shit, just not all day every day like a fuckin waste...i never got into cigs but it's the same shit...just quit! look yourself in the mirror and weigh your options. you'll be glad u did...fuck the patch...fuck the gum, fuck everything...JUST QUIT!!!

Hey bro, i see what your getting at......i say hell yeah get some gear and start training a.s.a.p! when you start training the newfound connection you have with your body will cause you to WANT to quit!!!! I used to smoke marlboro reds, weed, blunts! when i started triaining it made me WANT to quit! and if you dont really WANT to quit you wont! the terrible feeling in my lungs when i would train made me ready to quit! and the best time to try to quit would be when you start some gear!! you will be tired for a week when you quit the cigs, but the gear and training will offset the withrawl symptoms and help flush the nicotine out of your system and pump your brain full of natural endorphins to replace the chemical endorphins which was nicotene!!! My philosophy is this.... if you have a habit that is bad for your health(cigs) why not replace it with something that MIGHT be bad for you,but has positive aspects that out weigh and offset any negatives(gear). get some test E and some var and get your diet in check and get your ass in the gym. drink a ton of water to flush out. replace your bad habit(going for a smoke break) with training!!! you can do it! keep us posted!!!

...and by the way...i was smoke the stickiest of the ickiest...snoop dog kinda shit, NYC shit...blueberry, diesel, haze...all the best of the best :rasta:
- if i could give up that shit, u could definately give up those lousy cigs, that's 4 sure...stop making excuses...u say ur overweight, well overweight plus cigs plus juice doesn't add up to nice!. when u quit u will feel like a new man. it will take a month or so to get rid of the bad urge, but 4 me, now there's none...and i've been around the same people since i quit who are all still burnin, and i passed up on several occasions...i just stayed away from them for the first month or so...

I agree it is difficult, but addiction to morphine like substances is the most dangerous addiction.
It causes the worse PHYSICAL withdrawal effects on your body. People have actually died of withdrawal effects after stopping it cold turkey.

I agree that you must not smoke and juice at the same time. You would be adding bad cholestrol to smoking. Both are major risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

There is no way in hell quitting cigs is harder than quitting heroin. That kind of thinking will keep you puffing away for the rest of your life! you must replace your bad habit with new, healthy habits!!

I dont know for most people, but i can say for myself, smoking was harder then heroin to quit.

I definately respect your opinion on that due to your personal experience!

Heres a good way to quit. Since quitting smoking is "harder" then quitting Heroin, start shooting heroin. That way, even if you still have a desire to smoke, youll have already spent all your money on dope. And no one sucks dick for cigarettes, its like an unwritten rule. You can worry about quitting the heroin later. Besides, its easier to quit then smoking so this makes perfect sense. :jenscat
