It might help, but I'd probably take the word of your vet. Have you had full blood panels done?

I don't want to bum you out, but the muscle wastage could be tied to internal organ failure. I went through that with my favorite Husky a couple years ago - at age 12, bam, he suddenly lost a bunch of weight. Turned out to be kidneys shutting down. One big symptom of this was that his breath smelled really weird from the ketone build-up in his symptom. That's the sort of thing the blood work-up will define for you.

Super sorry i lost my dog NIcholas a Husky a few weeks ago. If juice will help your dog, do it! I would have melted down gold and injected it into mine if it would have helped. He was fine then boom he was in the hospital in the oncology icu for a week. they opened up tp try to fix him and the cancer was to bad. No symptoms up until that week.
But the vet was telling me of sickness in dogs that they stop producing something and have to put them on steroids. We started talking and she pretty much said steroids can do miracle on dogs. So talk to a good vet and giter done.
