There was no study cited but several members agreed that they have observed longtime AS users becoming dumber over time Maybe he sees the same condition with himself.

I would think that the "getting dumber" scenario comes into play because most long-time AS users are very vain and overly obsessive about thier appearance. Staring in a mirror or being totally pre-occupied with how one looks, IMHO would definately stifle any mental growth or stimulation. Sorta joking about this, sorta not I guess.
