Steroids for rehab

Ostarine (SARM) is known to help with ligament and tendon repair. Check it out and drop Dylan a line on his SARMS thread. I have a rat that has run Osta/GW and has had great success in healing a very long term hamstring tendinitis.

Nice. I was actually looking at that as a future cycle but I didn't realize that it might help with the tendon. I will check that out. Thanks.

I have running on GH for over a year. Never ran the deca/test cycle because after researching more it seems like that cycle wouldn't help heal it, only maybe make the area feel a little better while on. I don't even think the GH had much to do with the healing because I am running it at about 3ui/day. I did see an interesting study on GH and healing tendons but the subjects ran it at high (about 30ui/day). Too rich for my blood.

So how is the recovery going? Would you mind sharing more details on it? I ruptured my achilles on April 10, and had surgery on April 19. I'm 2 months in now and still in a walking boot for another month, then go to 2 shoes and start rehab. Want to throw something in for my recovery, but not sure what yet. Not looking for any short cuts, just want to heal as well as possible!

Sorry to hear that. Luckily I didn't need surgery but it took about 4 months for full recovery. I was using GH at a very small dose. 2ui/day. I found out later that a much greater dose is recommended for tendon healing. For me, it would have been too expensive to run that. If you have the cash I would give it a shot at whatever dosage you can do. I am 41 so recovery is not a breeze. I am glad I ran the GH, even though it is hard to say how much ,if any, it helped. I had also been on it for about 6 months prior to injury. I think that was alot better than just getting on it after the injury because of the long delay in seeing the affects.

Tb 500 will help the most - just make sure you do the rehab exercises and look after yourself. Eg DON'T take the TB500 and go nuts by grappling etc.

I used Tb500 to help come back from surgery and eventually compete in boxing. But as someone else has mentioned, nothing works as well as rest (scientifically proven).

So have you been back to BJJ training? What percent do you think you're at now? I go to the doc tomorrow and will officially be out of the boot, although I've been out for about a week now. I've just been using my heel only to walk, so not pushing off with my toes, although I feel like I'll be able to, once I get the ok. I may be in for a huge surprise, but I honestly don't feel like recovery from here out will be that bad (first 2 months were hell!). Still haven't ordered any advanced supplements to help out, but maybe I'll try the tb that the poster above is talking about.

In addition to TB500 and perhaps GH, Make sure your getting the recommended daily intake of all your vitamins and minerals. Having proper nutrient levels can make a huge difference in recovery.
